Israel does not want Palestinian abuse shown: reporter
Kristina Rinavi was one of five journalists detained by Israeli police during a Good Morning Jerusalem program on Palestine television in the Mount of Olives region in Israeli-occupied East Jerusalem.
After a long interrogation process, the journalists were released on the condition that they do not work on television for 15 days. They were told they would be fined if they breach the restriction.
Rinavi told Anadolu Agency that the detention process had “no legal justification.”
All the journalista’ equipment was confiscated and they were released after a long "arbitrary" interrogation, she said.
What Israel is trying to do is to put pressure on Palestinian media, Rinavi said.
"The occupying state wants to prevent what happened in Jerusalem and al-Aqsa to be shown to the Palestinian community,” she said. “Today, we pay the price for it.”

Palestine condemned the arrests and accused the U.S. of encouraging Tel Aviv to violate Palestinians’ rights by recognizing all of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.
It implored the international community to take measures to prevent Israel from attacking Palestinians.
On Nov. 20, Israeli forces raided Palestinian TV offices in East Jerusalem, which was closed for six months on orders of Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan.
