Leading a delegation of religious figures, top Iranian scholar has entered Turkey for a two-day visit to attend the inauguration ceremony of the biggest mosque in the country.

Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is on two-day visit to Turkey leading a delegation of religious figures to attend the opening ceremony of Camlica Republic Mosuqe in Istanbul, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hussein Sheikh-ul-Islam, international deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Mostafa Araki and Hujjat-ul-Islam Pourhavashemi attended Ayatollah Araki in this trip.
 
Turkish president Recept Tayyip Erdogan officially inaugurated the country’s largest ever mosque on Friday.
The Great Camlica Mosque is the most prominent of numerous Ottoman-style houses of worship built across Turkey under the 17-year rule of President Erdogan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP). Its enormous dome and four 107-metre high minarets are visible across much of the city of 16 million people.
