French city of Lyon will be hosting the first festival of Islamic cuisine in line with introducing Islamic principles and culinary traditions.

French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) has issued a public announcement as it will be holding the first Islamic food festival in the city of Lyon next month, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The festival will be introducing the culinary styles, Islamic foods and drinks and Islamic traditional dishes maintaining the Islamic principles for cooking and using ingredients with Halal branding.
Renowned for its culinary arts the European city of Lyon is hosting the Islamic food festival for the first time.
Islam is the second-most widely religion in France as the European country is home to a number of 4.7 million Muslims based on a 2011 survey.
