Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Javad Shahrestani, representative of prominent Iraqi jurisprudent Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, criticized western media blocking the teachings of Islam and news on Muslim world reaching world people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to enemies making utmost use of media to their benefit amid insufficient endeavors of the Muslim nation to use media to send the message of Islam to world.
 
“Media plays the role of a hindrance to prevent the true Islam reaching world people” said the Iraqi cleric and added,” Israel is making use of media as means for its wrong principles” calling for applying media to promote principles of true Islam.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahrestani also criticized management shortcomings and dispersion of Muslim nation and highlighted Islamic unity as guarantee for success of Islam in the world.
 
He urged for further cultural activities by Muslims and Islamic centers to promote the holy religion across the globe.
