Japan’s city of Ise has hosted cultural and religious meeting with senior Iranian official discussing the grounds for mutual cultural cooperation between Tehran and Tokyo.

Hussein Divsalar, Iran’s cultural attaché in Japan has met with the president and top executives of the Kogakkan University in Ise City discussing the grounds for mutual cooperation between Islam and Shinto, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iranian official in this meeting highlighted necessity of cultural and religious dialogues for utmost familiarity between the two nations hailing contributions of the prominent academic center for Shintoism, University of Kogakkan, Ise Temple and also interfaith center of Iran’s Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations.
 
He expressed hope for further understanding and cooperation on different cultural grounds between both countries.
 
Iranian cultural attaché discussed a future visit to be made by head of the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations to attend interfaith meeting between Islam and Shinto.
 
Iran’s organization has hosted several interfaith meetings with representatives of different religions from across the globe in line with expanding views of Islam and promoting interfaith relations with other religions.
