Shia cleric warns of desecrating other denominations
Prominent Shia scholar has warned of sacrilegious remarks against other denominations during mourning ceremonies for Hazrat Fatemeh (AS) and undermining Shia popularity by ignorant followers.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Husseini Qazvini, professor of Qom Seminary, attended the ceremony for martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh (AS), daughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), related on the origins of division among Muslims and warned of desecration against other Islamic denominations during Shia ceremonies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He stated several historical instances approving the imamte of Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), as an example for some disagreements among Muslims.
The cleric warned of Wahhabi statement which mandates killing of Shia Muslims and called the deviate groups a worst threat for the Shia.
Former CEO of Velayat international channel stressed,” Fatemieh, mourning ceremony of Hazrat Fatemeh (AS), should not turn into an opportunity for some to desecrate the followers of other Islamic denominations.”
He stressed that sacrilege and hostility to other denominations are certainly rejected by Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and will only intensify animosity in enemies of Shia.
