Islamic law capable of confronting violence

Top Pakistani figure attended the conference on Islamic Sharia in Iran’s University of Islamic Denominations stressing capability of Islamic law to confront violence.

Qibla Ayaz, chairman of the Council of Ideology Government of Pakistan, participated in conference jointly held with University of Islamic Denominations and said wherever Islamic law prevails there violence can be contained, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
In his speech at the conference, Pakistani figure referred to the differences between Iran and Pakistan in regards to carrying out Islamic Sharia based on the political and social situation in the country.

 
He also touched upon a similar observatory entity in Pakistan assimilating that to Iran’s guardian council and that Pakistani law recognizes all denominations.
 
Dr Qibla Ayaz also referred to the banking system in Pakistan banning riba (usury) as the legislature body confronts that as corruption.
 
He stressed,” Wherever Islamic Sharia is practiced, violence can be confronted.”
 
Chairman of the council of Ideology from Pakistan hailed Islamic Republic of Iran for executing its banking system based on Islamic law expressing hope that his country could use Iran’s experiences in different arenas.
