Sunni scholar hails Islamic solidarity in Iran

Top Sunni scholar praised the solidarity of Shia and Sunni communities in Iran’s Golestan Province and stressed those who divide Shia and Sunni Muslims belong to neither denomination.

Haj Akhoond Abdulhay Mirza Ali, Friday prayer leader of Aqqala, met with head of the Islamic Development Organization to highlight the solidarity of Shia and Sunni religious leaders in Golestan Province as an example for other Islamic regions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“People in Golestan Province cooperate and interact as a unified body” said the Sunni scholar and hailed the unanimity of people to maintain the trend.
 
He said unity and cooperation of the people has arrayed Shia and Sunni scholars next to each other as they enthusiastically attend ceremonies held by the other communities.
 
Akhoond Mirza Ali stressed that the present stability and peace in the country is owed to guidelines of the Supreme Leader.
 
He stressed,” Those who divide Shia and Sunni Muslims belong to neither denomination.”
