Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hadi Rahimi Sadeq, manager of Tehran Seminary, lauded the social achievements of Arba’een in the world of Islam and highlighted solidarity among different groups of people as an important part of that, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He noted that Imam Hussein (AS) belongs to all liberal people and nations across the world.
“Mission of Imam Hussein (AS), like the mission of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was a global mission; therefore, one cannot find even one single phrase deduced as radical or with religious and ethnical prejudice” said Hujjat-ul-Islam Rahimi Sadeq.
The cleric warned of possible intrigues to underestimate the popular Arba’een ceremony and said,” Arba’een is as influential in boosting Islamic unity as it concerns enemies of Islam.”
Manager of Tehran Seminary called the massive march of Arba’een as a cultural move for spiritual revival of the people and noted,” Besides its individual achievements, Arba’een has social impacts including solidarity of Muslims.”
The cleric referred to participation of non-Muslims in Arba’een ceremony and added,” Expansion of this between Muslims and followers of other religions and denominations and familiarization of non-Muslims with objectives of Ashura are among other achievements of the major ceremony which will eventually boost the stance of Islam in the world.”
