"Promoting unity can be held as the main desire of religious thinkers and leaders across the World of Islam," pointed out the religious official urging Muslims nations to place their focus on shared values and principles of Islamic sects and denominations.

Hojjatol Islam Val Moslemin Seyyed Mahmoud Madanie placed emphesis on the leading role of unity week in promoting solidarity and consolidating unity among Muslim nations.
