‘Zolfaghar’, ‘Khorramshahr’ unveiled during parades

Two domestic missiles named ‘Zolfaghar’ and ‘Khorramshahr’ were unveiled during the morning parade held to mark the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's invasion of Iran in the 1980s, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

During the event, military aircraft such as F-4s, Tucanos, Sukhoi-22s along with helicopter gunships were flown.

The drills held on the eve of the Holy Defense Week which was started on Saturday. The Holy Defense Week is an annual event meant to honor eight years of resistance against the invading forces of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein who launched a war on Iran from September 22, 1980 to August 20, 1988.
