Iranian religious jurisprudent grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani placed stress on the leading role of religious cleric and stressed, "Muslim clerics, thinkers and scholars with their knowledge and exemplary leadership skills can definitely unite Muslims," reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Addressing a group of seminary students, the religious cleric stressed, "The present Muslims' resistance against the world of arrogance can be held as a good omen for the future."
According to grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, Muslim nations, especially thinkers and clerics should be more vigilant and handle the current situations, beset by many setbacks and problems, with aplomb.
To the senior cleric, Muslims' previous enlightening experiences can let them expiate their past mistakes and ease the way for uniting against common enemies.
Along with Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, Iranian clerics believe, as far as solidarity and unity prevails among Muslim nations and Islamic schools of thought, no one can intervene in Muslims' domestic affairs.
