“Hajj, symbol of solidarity in Islamic nations”, Sunni cleric

Approaching the major Hajj pilgrimage, prominent Iranian Sunni scholar hailed the Islamic ritual as symbol for solidarity of Muslims which convenes pilgrims from all ethnicities and complexions.

Akhoond Khalmohammad Sarafraz, manager of Hedayati seminary in Raz and Jargalan County, northern Khorasan Province, attended the Sunni pilgrims leaving Iran for Saudi Arabia to stress the annual Hajj pilgrimage as a symbol for solidarity of Muslims who convene to voice their prayers for God Almighty unanimously, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed Hajj blessings when people from different nationalities who visit holy cities of Mecca and Medina to perform Hajj pilgrimage without prejudice for their ethnicities or complexions.
 
Akhoond Sarafraz called Hajj pilgrims to exchange views with other pilgrims as representatives of their country since familiarity with other viewpoints would aid them settle the disagreements with deeper insight.
 
Iranian Sunni scholar praised the bureau of Supreme Leader for initiative move to convene elites, thinkers and intellectuals from all Islamic countries to discuss the issues of Muslims in a greater convention.
 
“Hajj is one of the most effective ways for exchange of views” he said and added efforts to settle the issues of Muslims as another blessing of the annual pilgrimage.
 
Muslim pilgrims from across the globe have started the spiritual journey for holy cities of Mecca and Medina to perform the religious ritual on August 19-24, 2018.
