Hujjat-ul-Islam Safar Fallahi, cultural deputy at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS), met with a group of visiting Sunni clerics from Africa stressing calling for more attention on the common references between Shia and Sunni, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to the holy book of Islam and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as the shared assets of different Islamic denominations and said,” Based on Qur’an, the Prophet of Islam especially respected all religions and their denominations” stressing that the role model should be followed by all Muslims.
 
“Unity among Islamic denominations enfeebles enemies” the cleric stated and added,” Enemies are in constant pursuit of dividing Islamic denominations because such an ambiance is proper for achieving their hostile objectives.”
 
Visiting Sunni clerics in this meeting expressed gratitude over friendly relations between the Shia and Sunni community in the holy city of Qom, Iran, and expressed hope for promoting the role model of Islamic solidarity among different Islamic denominations across the globe.
