Hujjat-ul-Islam Ali Akbar Farjam, representative of the Supreme Leader in Sunni affairs in Khorasan Provinces hailed the moral of fraternity between Shia and Sunni communities in Northern Khorasan Province stressing the mutual trust and cooperation as the principles which command the relation between followers of different denominations in the region, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Meeting a group of seminary managers from Northern Khorasan Province, Hujjat-ul-Islam Farjam said constant struggles by religious scholars for promoting Islamic teachings has safeguarded Islam up to present time.
 
According to representative of the Supreme Leader convergence and spirit of solidarity between Shia and Sunni religious leaders in Northern Khorasan Province sets a proper example.
 
The cleric also stressed since the beginning of Islamic Revolution there has been no problem between residents from different Islamic denominations.
 
He noted,” Mutual trust, cooperation and sympathy command the relation between Shia and Sunni communities in Iran, a privilege which should be deeply esteemed.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Farjam referred to several instances of Qur’an teachings calling Muslims to unity warning them against dispersion.
