White House doctor says US President Donald Trump himself asked for mental health test approving his medical checkup results thanks to his ‘good genes’.
Trump’s military physician, US Navy Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, made the comments at an unusual briefing on Tuesday, asserting that the president had himself asked for the assessment amid allegations that he is not mentally fit for office.
“The president's overall health is excellent,” Jackson said.
“His cardiac performance during his physical exam was very good, he continues to enjoy the significant, long-term cardiac and overall health benefits that come from a lifetime of abstinence from tobacco and alcohol… All data indicates the president is healthy and will remain so for the duration of his presidency.”
This is while, the president does not do any exercises, eats so much fast food and drinks so much Diet Coke.
“It’s called genetics, I don’t know, some people have good genes,” Jackson argued, adding that he just has a high cholesterol, which is being treated by the drug Crestor.
