Senior Bangladeshi official attending the 31st Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran warns against division as the most important weapon in the hands of enemies of Islam.

Faiz Ahmed Bhuiyan, representative of Bangladesh Ministry of Religious Affairs, in his speech at the general assembly of 31st Islamic Unity Conference hailed Muslims' pursuit of science and spoke of dispersion as the main weapon for enemies to weaken Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said," Civilization in general much owes to endeavors of the Muslim intellectuals and scientists particularly the role played by Iranian polymaths and religious scholars."
Bangladeshi figure called for a unified strategy against hostile plots and also closer relations between Islamic scholars across the world of Islam.
"Influence of Islamic Republic of Iran and the movement founded by late Imam Khomeini (RA) on other countries is undeniable" said Faiz Ahmed Bhuiyan and added," Certainly the Islamic Unity Conference can play a key role in bringing the hearts of Muslims closer together."
He vowed that the modern Islamic civilization is being formed in the world calling Muslim thinkers to contribute to such efforts.
