In another part of his speech in this meeting, Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari said,” The prime axis according which extremist and Takfiri thoughts, violence and inflexibility are formed is an inaccuaret understanding of holy texts” and added,” Those with such worldview substitute the true meaning of religion with their partial and inaccurate understanding of religious texts  and limit religion in petrified views.”

He criticized extremist groups for accusations against religion and also for their harmony with world arrogant powers in sparking religiophobia eventually religious disaffiliation of people.

Ninth round of interreligious dialogue between Iran and world council of churches opened in the Organization of Culture and Islamic Communications  to discuss the role of exegesis of religious texts to create a world without violence in Tehran on Monday August 21st, 2017.
