Iranian cleric rejected the US as a democratic society but a society with a seemingly democratic wrapping.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his remarks prior to the Friday sermon in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), in Mashhad said that the pseudo-democratic society of the US is within the hands of a few capitalists and that the system does not stand for the popular views of the American nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” The strategies of the US government does not stand for the views of its nation because all people are in demand of peace while the real function of the government is based on personal whims.”
The cleric referred to the controversy between the ruling of God Almighty and that of the arrogant powers vowing that the clash would end for the benefit of spirituality.
Ayatollah Araki noted that the battle will end in victory though it is has its disadvantageous end with sanctions and damages which are telling of mutual deep fractures to the opposite front.
“Victory of Islamic Revolution in Iran was a great blow to the body of arrogant powers because it took a great part out of their hands liberating the country from arrogant powers” said the religious figure and added,” your promotions led to sparking of war and treachery at home and eventually the loss of some beloved figures.”
Ayatollah Araki hailed the resistance of Iranian nation in the 8-year Iraq war which led to the topple of Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, and said,” Your resistance channeled the war of arrogant powers into Saudi Arabia and lands occupied by the Zionists.”
Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts said,” The revolutionary thoughts overflowed to beyond Iran and hundreds of thousands of Syrian and Iraqi forces are mobilized to the point that Saudi Arabia is concerned and counts them as a threat.”
Iranian senior cleric referred to two fronts of soft war the first of which targeting the unity of people and their leaders and said the movement intends to divide the leadership from its main source of power, the people, with any possible means.
Ayatollah Araki stressed,” The second war is to chop the Iranian society into groups so that the integrated community is divided into small pieces under any pretext.”
