Zarif in Mauritania for discussing latest regional progress

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Mauritania’s capital, Nouakchott, to sit at talks with the country’s officials, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Warmly welcomed by his Mauritanian counterpart Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih, the Iranian political face discuss latest regional progress and mutual ties.
Zarif is to kick off to Algeria, Mauritania and Tunisia on Sunday, so as to make a two-day official visit to three North African countries for discussing mutual ties with the foresaid countries.
The visit is aimed at strengthening relations and exchanging views about discuss latest regional developments.
Zarif kicked off his visit the above-named countries on Sunday so as to hold talks with foreign ministers and heads of state of the three countries.
The Iranian foreign minister made official visit to North African countries of Tunisia and Algeria in 2015.
