Implementation of proximity efforts, main objective of 30th Intl unity Conf.

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Araki in an interview with Radio Iran said, "putting in action the decisions and efforts on Proximity of religions across the world, is the main objective of this year's unity conference."

According to Taghrib News Agency, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki underlined, "30^th International Islamic Unity Conference has been successful in various sectors adding that presence of large number of representatives from 60 countries, in itself is a sign of success and achievement."

He said, "those taking part in the conference are prominent figures of the Islamic world and this shows the significance of the gathering."

Ayatollah Araki went on saying, "presence of such large number of prominent Islamic scholars also shows that all those deviant groups who work for creating division, animosity and disagreements among Muslim Ummah have failed in their malicious attempts."

He continued, "one of the important achievements of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of thought is visits paid by various scholars from all over the world to holy city of Qom and exchange of views with religious dignitaries of city's seminaries."

Ayatollah Araki underscored, "in the ongoing Islamic unity conference a report was presented about the works and achievements of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the past few years."
