Ayatollah Araki, addressing final meeting of the conference on “Imam Reza (AS), key for unity and coalition of society” stressed monotheism as the element to safeguard the society and empowerment of the Islamic nation against enemies.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in his speech on the last leg of conference on Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad referred to monotheism as an Islamic fact criticizing those who are in pursuit of undermining Islamic unity in an attempt to disperse Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Deviations by present satanic forces are in line with disuniting the people and uproot monotheism and solidarity.”
 
The cleric demanded Shia and Sunni communities to safeguard the recommendations by prophet of Islam (PBUH) and added,” Affection towards the household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is one basis for Islamic nation’s identity and this identity is protected via maintaining monotheism.”
 
Ayatollah Araki concluded that confrontation with hostile intrigues by enemies of Islam is quite possible through monotheism and unity.
 
He demanded for patronizing the Islamic nation from deviations and distractions.
