“God rejects division equally with apostasy.”

Senior cleric noted that division and apostasy are equally rejected for God Almighty highlighting the struggles of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and other world great figures to boost solidarity among all people.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his speech at the opening ceremony for museum of hand scripts in Moscow Jame Mosque said God Almighty equally rejects division and apostasy and noted calling people to solidarity as the mission of prophets, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He expressed regret over enemies who succeeded in sparking war in some Islamic countries and said,” Those who spread division are in pursuit of annihilating Muslims” demanding Muslims to unite in safeguarding Islamic solidarity.
 
Ayatollah Araki counted Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Qibla (praying direction of Muslims), Qur’an and Islamic occasions as the commonalities of all Muslims and said,” Therefore we should join in each other’s celebrities and sorrows and at present be in grief with Yemen, Syria and Iraq.”
 
Secretary General of Iran’s center for Islamic unity also hailed the conference on Islamic unity in the Russian capital of Moscow and said,” We hope that increasing such conferences will lead to severing the hands of enemies form the world of Islam as well as boosting unity among Muslims.”
 
He expressed hope for the conference to leave positive influences on Islamic solidarity.
 
Demir Muhyeddin, deputy of Russia’s Mufti Council, in this ceremony expressed regret that some foreign players are struggling to distance Muslims calling for moves to prevent the hostile measures.
 
He referred to the two-day conference underway in Moscow and vowed that the meeting is meant to prevail peace and tranquility in the Islamic countries.
