Russian capital of Moscow is scheduled to host international conference on Islamic proximity for the first time.

According to the schedule announced by the conference representatives from Russia, Iran, Turkey as well as countries from Europe, Middle East, Northern Africa and also Southeast Asia will be among the participants.
 
The conference will be held in four sections: philosophy and religious context, Qur’an as basis of unity, logics of promoting Islamic thoughts and goodwill as move towards perfection.
 
The message sent by the Russian bureau stresses that the conference aims at finding common grounds for interaction among different Islamic denominations and measures for more proximity among Islamic schools of thought.
 Part of the message reads,” This conference is set to search ways for proximity of different Islamic denominations based on Qur’anic teachings, Islamic viewpoints and also approved criteria to define an orthodox Muslim in view of Islamic elites.”
The conference is also prone to discuss the final statement in Sunni scholars’ meeting in Chechnya over true Muslims.
 
Muslim thinkers in this conference are also expected to discuss ways to confront extremist and terrorist groups who have brought troubles for the whole world of Islam including the terrorist groups Al Nusra and Daesh occupying parts of Islamic states and massacring the Muslims in these regions.
 
A two-day conference on Islamic unity and solidarity of Muslims is set to kick off in Moscow on Wednesday participated by Muslim elites from across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The conference is held by bureau of Russian Muslim Scholars, Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and secretariat of international conference for Muslims.
