'Iran top unity body plays telling role in society'
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought stressed the necessity of establishing Iran top unity center.

Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) beckoned to the necessity of Iran top unity center and its establishment in the Islamic society.
"Establishing the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought is a necessity from both logical and religious aspect," highlighted the president of Iran top unity center adding, "As for logical perspective, the Islamic Society is by nature united regarding the identity and enemies or friends it has."
"According to an Islamic sociological analysis and study, whether governors and authorities want to accept or not, the friends of Islamic society are united friends, the same story is true about the enemies of Islamic community," the senior cleric underlined.
Enlarging on his line, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought stressed, "It means, unity is a prerequisite for an Islamic society which of its nature enjoys a united identity."
"Given the foresaid issues, the challenges as such societies are mired in and face to are similar to each other," pointed out Ayatollah Araki stressing, "if a society can make an inroad, the gained achievement is because of the cooperation among all parts and effort made by all of them."
"As to aforementioned lines, we can be counted as an Islamic society with a united identity and common friends and enemies," underscored the religious cleric adding the challenges Muslims were wrestling with were similar too."
"It is incumbent upon us to inform people and make them abide by its requirements. For having a united Ummah we need guiding people," mentioned Ayatollah Araki placing accentuation on the necessity of uniting the Islamic society and promoting rapprochement among its members.
Beckoned to the Quran verse saying, "and hold fast to the rope of Allah, all of you together, and do not be divided; and remember Allah's favor on you," President of Iran top unity center urged Muslims to be too well united and refrain from any moves and measures leading to disunity in the World of Islam.
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought went on to stress, "As for logical and religious cogent reasons, our leaders decided to establish the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic School of Thought."
"The proximity related activities and programs started since the victory of Islamic revolution and proposed as one of the duties upon the system in the constitution," added the President of Iran top unity body.
Ayatollah Araki went on to highlight, "In the current situation there a full-scale war against the Islamic community identity. The World of arrogance planted the regime of Israel in the region to have it as a leverage on the countries in the Middle East.
"If the Islamic awakening had been shaped and Muslim communities had got united, then Israel would have been fallen and the U.S would have not had a basis in the region," Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought mentioned.
Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought placed stress on the importance of unity among Muslims and urges them to do their best in furthering and preserving it by following the Islamic teachings and instructions.
It is worthwhile to note that The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST) was established in 1989 following a recommendation by the Supreme Leader Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
The World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughtwas commissioned to promote unity among the followers of the entire Islamic schools of thought, and has been holding the International Islamic Unity Conferences every year ever since then, during the Unity Week which marks the auspicious birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam, based on the Shiite and the Sunni schools of thought.
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki is currently the Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought. He tries his utmost in the unity area and upholding unity and rapprochement among Muslims from different Islamic denominations and sects.
Ayatollah Araki also teaches at high levels of Feqh, Principles, Quran interpretation and Hadith sciences in Qom. He is also the member of Supreme Council of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly. Prior to the post, Ayatollah Araki was also the Secretary of the Supreme Council and head of this organization.
