'JCPOA provides ground for more cooperation': Rouhani

Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) provided the ground for Islamic Republic of Iran to strengthen its tie with other countries.


Addressing the 1st World Conference of Mayors and Councilors, President Hassan Rouhan highlighted Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) provided the ground for Islamic Republic of Iran to strengthen its tie with other countries in various areas, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA). 

"Thereafter clinching the nuclear deal, Iran and the World powers have cooperated in scientific, cultural, social, and economic areas to date," stressed Rouhani.

"If we want to secure stability, peace and tranquility in the world, we are incumbent to be more patient and accept different takes, cultures, and opinions," pointed out Rouhani.

"And if we want to uproot terrorism, extremism and violence" he continued, "we must respect each others' lifestyles and takes running counter to ours, showing more tolerance to each other."

The first World Conference of Mayors and Councilors 2016 opened with President Hassan Rouhani in attendance.

The World Conference of Mayors and Councilors is centered around the latest scientific and expert achievements in city management.
