Prominent Iranian cleric met with Iraqi advisor demanded that the flag for Muslim solidarity be raised in all Islamic centers.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Alireza Arafi, director of Al Mustafa International University, met with Mamusta Niuazi Houramani, political advisor at patriotic union of Iraq Kurdistan, highlighting importance of providing religious teachings with a proximity view and said maintaining Islamic unity is a flag which should be raised in all Islamic centers of the Muslim world, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to endeavors for institutionalization of Islamic views in universities as one of the most important approaches in Iran’s educational system and noted,” Scientific progress in line with maintaining Islamic view is a key feature in Iranian universities.”
The cleric expressed regret over dispersion of Muslims in current era and said,” Unfortunately more than 50 Muslim countries with over 1.5 billion people, powerful economic and strategic assets does not have efficient decision making in global arena.” Adding,” Had we moved in cooperation with each other, there would have been no space for Israel in the region and no opportunity for anyone to invade Islamic lands.”
Member of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution highlighted importance of proximity approach in providing religious teachings in Al Mustafa University and noted,” Attention to Islamic unity is a flag which should be hoist in all Islamic centers in Muslim world.”
Iranian cleric special focus of Al Mustafa on humanities and social issues with an Islamic approach as a mandate in the academic center and stressed,” Al Mustafa underlines unity in the world of Islam and dialogue with non-Muslims.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Arafi concluded that Al Mustafa doors are open to scholars in the region expressing hope for expansion of ties with Iraqi Kurdistan region.
