Romani bishop highlights necessity of dialogue among religions

Romanian Bishop Petronia Florea placed accentuation on the prime importance of opening dialogue among religions as the sole avenue way to secure and strengthen peace in the world, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Making his remarks among reporters, the religious cleric underscored, "Partaking in academic talks and dialogue will pave the way for boosting international peace and interaction."

Refering to many commonalities shared between orthodox Christianity and Shiism, he underlined, "Shiite sect enjoys a very high capacity for dialogue and intellectual interaction."

Stressing on the diversity takes in the world nowadays. today's world, dialogue continued, "it is incumbent upon religious leaders and thinkers to act according to their religious commitments and try their very best to enhance peace and security in the world by promoting interaction.

Petronia Florea demanded Christian and Muslim thinkers and elites to team up and work in tandem so as to shelter nations from the fallouts and negative influences of secularism.
