'Iran, Croatia enjoy cultural commonalities'

Visiting Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović said her country completely supported strengthening of ties between Iran and European Union (EU).
At a joint news conference with her Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, she said, "Zagreb is also for opening of the EU office in Tehran."

She further hoped her trip to Iran would be a turning point in establishment of more economic cooperation.

Congratulating Iran on July landmark agreement with the world powers, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović said , "start of implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on January 16 led to expansion of Iran's relations with global countries."

Croatian President arrived in the Iranian capital on Tuesday afternoon and will stay here for three days.
