“Assembly of Experts moves against oppression.” Ayatollah Araki
Renowned Iranian scholar praised Parliamentary Assembly of Experts as a guarantee against oppression and highlighted the heavy mission of those who are serving in the group.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, attended the mourning ceremony for martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (AS), daughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and wife of the first Shia Imam, detailing the origins of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and mission of Parliament’s Assembly of Experts, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The cleric rejected any comparison between late Imam Khomeini (RA) and Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution with other world leaders.
He said,” Uprising of Imam Khomeini (RA) meant to put an end to oppression.” And added,” Tosay the defenders of holy shrines in Iraq and Syria demand an end to Al Saud which is a representative of the same oppressive movement.”
The scholar noted Al Saud as the representative of the oppressive move which was opposed by Hazrat Zahra (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), late Imam Khomeini (RA) and now our Iranian nation.
Ayatollah Araki highlighted the status of Assembly of Experts and stressed,” This assembly is a guarantee for this anti-oppression movement, a great movement launched by Iranian nation against tyrants in pursuit of looting Muslim assets and it was because of that a Muslim and just scholar rose to lead the people.”
He noted that Assembly of Experts intends to assist this Muslim and just leader and think of solutions in case anything happened to him saying,” This is proof for the heavy mission of us to perfectly carry out our mission.”
Ayatollah Araki said,” Experts are people who know the true leaders to leave the mission of leading people to them and this is heavy responsibility for both people and their elected representatives in the Assembly of Experts.”
Iran’s elections for the Parliament and Assembly of Experts are going to be held simultaneously on Friday February 26, 2016.
