“Scientific Miracle of Quran” Workshop Held in Egypt

An educational workshop titled “Scientific Miracle of Quran” was held on November 15 in Tanta University in Gharbia Governorate of Egypt.

According to al-Watan website, the program was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments of the region and chaired by Abdul Hakim Abdul Khaliq, president of the university.

The Council of Community Service and Environmental Development headed by Mohammad Ahmad Daboun, vice-president of the university, supervised the workshop.

The main objective of the program was to disseminate Islamic moderation in response to the efforts made to spread extremist thoughts and attribute them to religion with the aim of distorting the image of Islam and creating divisions and conflicts in the society.

The scientific facts on religious thoughts related to the issues of the time and thoughts of the youth were also discussed in the workshop.

Abdelfattah Zalat, of the Geology Department of the university, Muhammad Mina, of the university’s Faculty of Science, and Abdulbasit Morsi, of the Department of Chemistry, presented speeches in the program.
