Opening ceremonry of Tehran Press exihibition held

The 21^st exhibition of Press and news agencies was opened in a ceremony with Iran President Hasan Rouhani and Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Ali Jannati in attendance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Some 22 representatives from 11 foreign media including China, France, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Russia, Turkey, and USA have sent delegates to the event to introduce their media to the Iranian visitors.

Over 600 domestic media are to display their works and activities in some 567 pavilions.

The 21st Press Exhibition started work on November 7 and will last for a week. Its theme is Fair Criticism and Accountability.

The objective of this exposition is to act as a comprehensive resource for the industry, its members, prospective business visitors and customers by providing in-depth information about the industry and the latest trends influencing its progress.

Being attended by prominent electrical companies, equipment manufacturers and vendors, the expo offers participants the opportunity to network, learn about new technologies and techniques, exchange ideas and discuss industry trends.

The event will be wrapped up on November 11.
