Unity, top priority of Muslim world
Iranian top center for Islamic unity issued a statement stressing necessity of uprooting dispersion and boosting solidarity among Muslims.

Concurrent with the 25th foundation anniversary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, the Islamic unity center, led by grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki issued a statement stressing its objective of boosting unity among different Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The statement highlighted the objectives of the Islamic Revolution in Iran to include institutionalizing Islamic teachings, expanding movements of the world of Islam for realization of a unified Islamic Ummah (nation) and also formation of the great Islamic movement.
Based on the statement following these objectives have led to growth of a blessed blossom in the Islamic Revolution which has turned into a young and pure center, under the supervision of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei.
Part of this message runs,” Now, 25 years of unending struggles for realization of Islamic proximity by Muslim thinkers, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, stresses unity as the top priority of the Muslim world.”
The statement also touched upon the future objectives of the world forum adding,” World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will maintain struggling to clear the sectarian and religious disagreements and also unification of the nations and Islamic states in line with confrontation with arrogance and petrifying thoughts welcoming all hands crossed for assistance.”
Established on October 1990 by order of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has taken several steps to undermine disagreements between different Islamic denominations, boosting solidarity among Muslims across the globe.
The center has also held several cultural and religious conferences the most outstanding one is the annual Islamic Unity Conference held concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
