Muslim states form a fact finding mission for Mina crush

Senior Shia cleric, attending the ceremony for victims of Mina crush held in London, demanded Islamic countries to launch a fact-finding mission to investigate into the different aspects of the incident which has led to the killing of thousands of Hajj pilgrims.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Shomali, head of the Islamic Center of London, referred to the importance of Hajj pilgrimage and necessity of a secur atmosphere for pilgrims criticizing Saudi government for failing to meet the aim and demanded for launching a board of representatives from Muslim countries to probe into the mishap in the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He addressed Saudi officials saying that the biggest problem with them is their arrogance because although incapable in managing the necessary security and facilities for the pilgrims, they reject contributions and assisstance proposed by other Muslim countries.
 
Top cleric said,” Formation of a fact finding mission, particularly from the victims’ countries is a legal right.” adding that Saudi Arabia should not have any problem with the proposal if it has played no role in the outbreak of the tragedy.
 
Head of the Islamic Center of England called for serious probe and punishment of the culprits behind the incident demanding Saudi government to open the ways for Islamic experts in a bid to furthur investigation into the incident and prevention of other similar catastrophes in future.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shomali also demanded for formal apologies by the hosting country of Saudi Arabia as well as showing utmost cooperation for recognition and sending the bodies to their countries.
