'Safeguarding unity, by far the most telling obligation': Ayatollah Araki

Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought stressed, “Safeguarding unity in World of Islam is of far and away the most important obligation upon Muslims.”


Addressing a ceremony mounted in Golshan Mosque for Mina victims, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought beckoned to Supreme Leader’s instructions and commands as to the issue of unity highlighting, “upholding unity in the world of Islam is by far the most telling obligations upon Muslim nations,” reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA)  
 
Ayatollah Araki bekconed to the recent deadly incident that happened during the Hajj pilgrimage rituals in Mina, outside the holy city of Mecca centering his remarks around the task Muslims countries should advance with this connection.

Pointed to what God Almighty described in his saying, “Who, when disaster striked them, say, indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [righty] guided (1: 156-157)”, Ayatollah Araki offering his condolences to the family of the deceased pilgrims for their lost and praying to Allah Almighty to bestow grace and remission on the blessed souls.
 
President of Iran top unity center stressed the necessity of dispatching a fact-finding mission to Saudi Arabia to probe the recent deadly incident so as to disclose the reasons behind the catastrophe to Muslims across the globe.
 
Elsewhere in his remarks. Ayatollah Araki went on to add that God places emphasis on the security of HIS house, “given that, securing safety and security of the House of God Almighty is an obligation upon all Muslims.”
 
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought placed accentuation on the prime importance of Muslim countries involvement in managing Hajj pilgrimage so that the commemoration is handled by a board of Islamic states rather than Saudi Arabia as the single host.
 
Ayatollah Araki underline, "if Saudi rulers cannot provide pilgrims with the required safety during this rituals, then it is incumbent upon all Muslims to involve and join a committee to oversee the management of annual Hajj pilgrimage.
 
The grand Ayatollah beckoned to what God says in his book : “And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him – his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful (4:100),"  noting those who lost their lives in Mina were martyrs.
 
In another line of his remarks, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought stressed the necessity of Muslims unity and rapprochement in the World of Islam counting them as the most important duty upon Muslims.
 
Ayatollah Araki urged Muslims to abide by the Islamic Teachings and ordinance stressing to this end (following God’s command) Muslims should safeguard their unity and solidarity.

Thus far many a cleric called for the dispossession of Saudi Arabia of the privilege of running the annual Hajj pilgrimage following the recent tragic crush in Mina and Riyadh's poor handling of its aftermath.
