In an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency, the Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party Muhammad Nabi Habibi pointed the finger of blame on Saudi officials for tragic human crush of September 24 in Mina.

“I have no doubt that Saudi Government is the main factor and culprit for this tragedy,” pointed out the political analyst leveling severe criticism at the monarchy for their policy and measures in the region.

“They (Saudi rulers) fight with Muslims in different countries including Iraq, Syria, Yemen and other spots worldwide so as to forward the policy dictated to them by main powers,” stressed the Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party and went on to add on account of such policy they have been debilitated and could not use their past experiences for managing the biggest commemoration of Muslims with tact.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Muhammad Nabi Habibi beckoned to the blame game Saudi Arabia was playing over the fatal crush, stressing the countries’ attempt for shirking its heavy responsibility for the death of several thousand pilgrims of the House of God would further tarnish Saudi Arabia’s image in the world and was not forgivable.

The Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party further blasted Saudi officials for failing to live up to their commitments regarding the crush in Mina and to fulfill their duties concerning the desperate pilgrims.

About 4,700 people, including 464 Iranians, lost their lives in the tragedy.
