Christians, Muslims in need of joint cooperation

A Vatican representative stressed necessity of solidarity among Muslims and Christians highlighting true belief in God Almighty as the shared factor between the followers of the holy religions.



 
Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, president of the POntificial Council for Justice and Peace in the Vatican, issued a message to the Islamic Symposium of the environment in turkey demanded for more cooperation between Muslims and Chritians, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Part of the message to the "Green Fight" Islamic Symposium runs," We are passing some very critical moments of the contemporary history, when humanity is faced with numerous challenges and is in dire demand of our prayers and firm actions.
 
Ghanaian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church added," A great reason which binds Muslims, Christians and many others together is a true belief in God Almighty and this reason leads us to protect the extraordinary blessings of God for us and the future generations."
 
"That is the reason that our timely action will be quite beneficial." noted he and said," In fact, we the followers of different religions have to find ways for mutual understanding and sympathy, particularly, we Muslims and Christians are in need of joint cooperation."
