"US website's claim about Zarif son is media hoax," said an official in the Foreign Ministry.

An official in the Foreign Ministry called a US website's claim concerning presence of Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif's son in wedding ceremony of Secretary of State John Kerry's son as pure fabrication.

According to the Foreign Ministry Media Department, the official denied news of the US website, described it baseless and adding, "number of unreliable news circles by misusing news procedures and upon certain incentives, including attracting readership, disseminate such lies."

"It would be appropriate that domestic media pay attention to validity of the sources which they use in their news," the official added.
