Dozens of Bahraini  demonstrators took to the streets of the Persian Gulf country on Saturday to denounce the blast, which occurred in Saudi Arabia’s Qatif region on Friday, killing at least 21 people and wounding nearly 100 others.

The Shia mourners chanted slogans against the ISIL Takfiri militants  over the deadly terrorist attack.
According to  rights activists, Saudi-backed Bahraini forces fired tear gas to disperse the crowd, injuring a number of the demonstrators.

The killing of Saudi Shias has caused an international outrage, with rights groups and regional countries expressing concerns over the ongoing violence.

Since mid-February 2011, thousands of anti-regime protesters have held numerous demonstrations on the streets of Bahrain, demanding political and democratic rights for the Shia majority who have been marginalized by the Saudi-backed regime for decades.

The country has been a scene of an ongoing suppression of anti-regime protesters, who also call for the Al Khalifa family to relinquish power.

Scores of Bahrainis have been killed and hundreds of others injured and detained in the ongoing crackdown on peaceful demonstrations.
