The closing ceremony of the 6th edition of international Quran memorization, recitation and Tajweed competition in Kuwait will be held today, April 8.

According to KUNA, the Theater Hall of Bayan Palace in Kuwait's capital city will host the ceremony.

The sixth edition of Kuwait International Holy Quran Award began in the Persian Gulf country on March 30.

100 Quran reciters and memorizers from some 60 countries competed in the Quranic event.
It is annually organized by the Quranic Affairs Department of Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

Peyman Ayazi and Hamidreza Abbadi represented the Islamic Republic respectively in memorization of the entire Quran and recitation categories.
