Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in a message expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of Ayatollah Morteza Mahtoori, top Yemeni pioneer of Islamic unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iranian cleric in his message said," martyred leaders will be alive in the minds of liberal Muslims and their path will inspire their followers."
 
Part of this message runs," Again the hands of terrorist criminals martyred an Islamic elite. This figure was grand Ayatollah Morteza Mahtoori, who we pray will be a companion of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)."
 
It added," World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought extends condolences over the demise of this great pioneer of Islamic solidarity and stresses that martyred leaders will be alive in the minds of liberal Muslims.
