Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmood Vaezi held talks with visiting Turkish Minister of Development and President's Special Aide Cevdet Yilmaz on issues of mutual interests here on Saturday.

Referring to the upcoming visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tehran, Vaezi said Iran is fully ready to make necessary preparations for the visit.
Vaezi underscored that the visit would pave the way for implementation of the Iran-Turkey programs in 2015.
Describing Turkey and Iran as friendly and brotherly neighborly countries, Yilmaz underlined that the two countries will do their utmost for expansion of mutual relations.
Yilmaz arrived in Tehran for a two-day official visit on Saturday morning.
Erdogan will pay an official visit to Iran after Iranian New Year, Noruz celebrations (on March 21).
Iran and Turkey have been pursuing widening of their ties in various fields in the last two decades. Iran is a main energy supplier to Turkey and Ankara has made huge investments in Iran.
Iran is a main destination for Turkish goods and Turkey is among the top destinations for Iranian tourists and traders.
The two states plan to multiply their trade transactions in the next few years.
The Supreme Iran-Turkey Council, led by the two countries' presidents will convene for the 2nd time during the Turkish president's visit and the two countries' cabinets will hold a joint session in Tehran to resolve the remaining technical issues between the two states.
