Experts Assembly members to meet Leader

Members of Leadership Experts Assembly (LEA) are about to meet Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution today on Thursday, LEA Vice Speaker Ayatollah Qorbanali Dorri Najafabadi.
Experts Assembly members to meet Leader
Najafabadi announced the news at the end of the 17th nationwide meeting of the LEA, held from March 10-11 and headed by the former LEA speaker Ayatollah Seyyed Mahmud Shahrudi.


In the 17th meeting of the LEA the assembly's agenda included electing the presiding board, in which Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi won the election race 47 votes out of the 73 casted votes.


Ayatollah Shahrudi and Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Movahhedi-Kermani, too, respectively with 42 and 29 votes became the first and second vice speakers of the LEA.


The LEA presiding board is elected once every two years with the votes of the LEA members.
