Hamburg hosts “Necessity of Peace in View of Islam” Forum

The Islamic Center of Hamburg will host a forum on the “necessity of peace and security in view of Islam” planned to be organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, organization of the program was discussed in a meeting of Ayatollah Ramezani, head of the Islamic European Union of Shiite Scholars and Theologians, with a representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in the holy city of Qom.

The forum will be attended by a number of scholars, clerics and cultural and academic figures from all over Europe.

The representative of the Shia source of emulation stressed the importance of unity and solidarity among scholars and clerics in order to precisely investigate and truly introduce the Islamic viewpoints.
