Spain to mount confab on Quran’s Scientific Miracle

It will be organized in June by the International Commission on Scientific Signs in Quran and Sunnah in cooperation with the University of Granada, WAS news agency reported.

Secretary General of the commission Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al-Muslih highlighted the importance of the event as it is held in Andalusia and because of the participation of non-Muslim scholars and thinkers.

He said the conference aims to shed light on the fact that Islam is a religion of knowledge and wisdom and one which invites human beings to seek the truth, innovation, progress, and justice.

Al-Muslih noted that 500 papers have been submitted to the secretariat of the conference, 50 of which have been selected.

Earlier, he referred to verse 53 of Surah Fussilat “We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?”, and said in line with this verse the commission seeks to spread its activities about the scientific miracle of the Quran and Sunnah around the world.
