Larijani: Majlis supports every move in expansion of Iran-Iraq ties

Majlis (parliament) Speaker said on Tuesday that Majlis supports every move in direction of expansion of ties between Iran and Iraq.

Ali Larijani made the remarks in a meeting of visiting Iraq Telecom Minister Hassan Kazem al-Rashed.

Larijani acknowledged growing trend of bilateral ties said that there are plenty of potentials which should be utilized by appropriate planning.

Larijani said creation of common border markets, provincial cooperation and cooperation in construction of industrial factories are among important fields for cooperation and added that Majlis supports every act in this concern.

He expressed pleasure with recent victories of Iraq military forces in fight against Daesh and underlined continued support of Iraniaan government to Iraq.

Larijani underlined necessity of implementation of mutual agreements and necessary facilitation for investment of private and public sectors from both countries to develop economic and industrial ties.

Hassan Kazem al-Rashed, for his part, appreciated Iran's assistances to Iraqi government and nation.

He underlined necessity of joint cooperation for reconstruction of the Iraqi infrastructure.
