British media say the Ministry of Defense is planning to deploy military experts to Syria’s neighboring countries such as Jordan to launch the mission.

For months, Britain promised to supply experts to help what it calls “moderate opposition groups” to resist the advance of the ISIL terrorists in Syria and Iraq.

Britain and the United States are to host a meeting in London that brings together members of the so-called anti-ISIL coalition.

The event will focus on how the issue of tackling the ISIL threat has progressed so far.

The United States and a number of regional countries are accused of supporting anti-Damascus militants, many of whom are now members of ISIL.

The Takfiri group, with members from several Western countries including the UK, Canada, France, Australia and Germany, controls parts of Syria and Iraq, and has been carrying out horrific acts of violence such as public decapitations and crucifixions against all communities including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, and Christians.

Over 200,000 people have been killed in the crisis in Syria over the past nearly four years, according to reports. New figures show that more than 76,000 people, including thousands of children, lost their lives in Syria last year alone.
