Hojjatol Islam Seyyed Sadeq Eshkevari said: “This exhibition started on January 8, 2015 and will continue until March 9. One of the programs at this congress is the listing of Malek Library and National Museum sources, including the documents, manuscripts, and museum pieces,” reported IBNA.

Referring to the other programs to be carried out in this exhibition, Eshkevari said; “Among other programs intended in this congress, we can mention ‘Manuscripts Workshop’, ‘Iranian Calligraphy Exhibition’, ‘Iran/Iraq Books and Magazines Store’, as well as showing documentaries, videos and teasers.”

He added that 10 sessions are intended so far for scholars and researchers to exchange their views in the conference hall, with the first session being titled ‘Persian Language in Iraq’ which is due to be held soon.

On the reason for holding these programs at Malek National Library and Museum he said: “This institute enjoys having a library and a museum at the same place so it is possible for the lecturers to refer to the objects kept at the museum when they talk about a special period in the history or a particular topic which adds to the attraction of the lecture.”
