Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Alkarbalaei said: The Grand Ayatollah Sistani condemned the killing of the Sunni scholars in Basra and asked for the arrest of all the perpetrators.

Sheikh Alkarbalaei asked for actions to prevent corruption and wasting of the national resources of Iraq.

He also asked the government to pay the salaries of the civil servants who have not been paid for months.

The Friday Prayer Leader of Karbala also asked for reduction of official holidays because this will have direct affects on all sectors especially the education sector.
