Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani here Saturday commissioned his 1st deputy to survey urgently and seriously the Isfahan acid attacks’ case personally in Isfahan and to report the result to him.

Larijani, meanwhile, asked the police, security, and judiciary forces to deal with the sensitive matter that has negatively affected the country’s security atmosphere as an urgent priority.

“The heart breaking incidence of acid attacks in Isfahan has created great sorrow for the public,” wrote Ayatollah Amoli Larijani in his order to his First Deputy Hojjatoleslam Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ezhe’ie.

The judiciary chief has stressed that although he has been pursuing the matter personally ever since its beginning and issued strict order for pursuing the matter to the esteemed head of the Isfahan Judiciary, due to the wretchedness of the inhumane criminal act the presence of his 1st deputy in Isfahan, too, was needed.

Ayatollah Larijani has expressed hope that the “criminal, or criminals” of the notorious act will very soon be arrested and punished for their ugly deeds.
